The Design for a Better World Award is an initiative created by Centro Brasil Design with the goal of recognizing projects that use design as a strategic tool to generate positive impact. The award evaluates solutions based on criteria such as innovation, social impact, environmental responsibility, and socio-economic relevance, connecting design to the global sustainability agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. Over the years, it has established itself as a platform that gives visibility to initiatives addressing contemporary challenges through design.

In its 2025 edition, the award brought together projects from various regions of Brazil and abroad, across categories including digital design, services, products, graphic design, architecture, and concepts. Among hundreds of submissions, 57 projects were selected and awarded for their ability to generate positive impact through creative, consistent, and socially relevant solutions, reinforcing the role of design as a driver of transformation.
